We lived 9 years in Lhokseumawe and when the Tsunami hit Aceh in December 2004, I immediately organized a relief operation with my Rotary Club Jakarta Sentral.
We received support from Rotary Clubs around the world. and our biggest project is the support of fishermen in the area, by providing them with boats, fishing nets, motor, fiberglass box and diesel fuel.
Here are some pictures of the last 14 boats handed over on May 19th.2007 to make it a total of 106 boats, which will support about 350 families.
